Terms
and Conditions
of Sale
Crewsader Events is a non-profit association governed by the French law of July 1, 1901, whose purpose is to organize events centered around video games.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "Terms") govern all sales of tickets, merchandise, and registrations carried out by Crewsader Events (hereinafter "the Organizer") in connection with its events.
By purchasing a ticket, merchandise, or registering for an event organized by Crewsader Events, the participant acknowledges having read and unreservedly accepted these Terms.
- Ticket: right of entry to an event organized by Crewsader Events.
- Merchandise: physical themed item created and sold by Crewsader Events, also referred to as "Goodies."
- Participant: any person purchasing or using a ticket.
- Organizer: the Crewsader Events association.
These Terms apply to any sale of tickets or merchandise, whether carried out online, on-site, or through any other means authorized by the Organizer.
Prices are listed in euros and are tax-exempt, as tax does not apply.
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Accepted payment methods are specified on the point of sale.
Unless otherwise stated, physical items are delivered only at a Crewsader-organized event, and only for items ordered at least 2 weeks before the event date.
In the case of home delivery, Crewsader's liability applies until the package is handed over to the carrier.
The Customer must collect the product at the event following their order, unless that event takes place less than two weeks after the order.
If the Customer is unavailable to collect the order, they have 30 days to contact Crewsader in order to arrange pickup at the nearest following event. If Crewsader is not contacted within 30 days, or if the product is presented a second time at an event without being collected, Crewsader may consider the sale terminated as a matter of right and dispose of the Product as it sees fit, with the Customer deemed to have relinquished it. The Customer waives any claim or request (including cancellation or compensation) for any delay, regardless of the consequences.
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (exceptions to the right of withdrawal), tickets sold by Crewsader Events are firm and final and are not eligible for any refund, except in the event of the outright cancellation of the event by the Organizer.
In the event of a partial cancellation, postponement, or change of program, no refund will be issued, except by exceptional decision of the Organizer.
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (exceptions to the right of withdrawal), custom-made products (all Crewsader products are custom-made) sold by Crewsader Events are firm and final and are not eligible for any refund, except by decision to the contrary by Crewsader.
Tickets are personal and non-transferable by default, but may be transferred to a third party only upon written request to aducine.crewsader@gmail.com or orion.crewsader@gmail.com, at least 72 hours before the event begins.
Full contact details of both the current ticket holder and the future holder must be provided so that each participant can be individually identified.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse the transfer if these conditions are not met.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any person whose behavior is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or contrary to the event's rules, without refund.
The Organizer cannot be held liable for:
- loss, theft, or damage to participants' personal belongings,
- injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow safety instructions,
- disruptions, delays, or cancellations due to force majeure (within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code),
- damage caused by an individual to the facilities made available, with that individual held liable for any resulting repair costs.
By participating in a Crewsader Events event, the Participant authorizes the Organizer to use, reproduce, and distribute their image as part of photographs or videos taken during the event, on any medium and for any duration, without compensation.
Any objection to this clause must be submitted in writing before the event to aducine.crewsader@gmail.com or orion.crewsader@gmail.com.
Any complaint must be submitted in writing to aducine.crewsader@gmail.com and orion.crewsader@gmail.com within a maximum of 7 days after the event in question.
All content published by Crewsader Events (text, images, logos, communication materials) is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without written authorization.
In the event of force majeure (natural disaster, pandemic, administrative decision, strike, etc.) making the event impossible to hold, the Organizer may postpone or cancel the event without any obligation to compensate, aside from a possible refund of the ticket price under terms determined by the Organizer.
These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction over the Organizer's registered office.
